NOW Senior Circuit Training

Why wait? NOW is the time to join our senior group training program! In this class, a certified trainer leads you through a fun circuit training workout filled with strength and cardio intervals designed to strengthen muscles and keep the heart fit. Enjoy the benefits of working out in a fun, supportive group environment. Optional body composition assessments provided at the start and end of each session. All fitness levels welcome.

Class Times: Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:15a

Session 1: January 9th-February 24th (7 wks)
Session 2: February 27th - April 13th (7 wks)
Session 3: April 16th - June 1st (7 wks)

Cost:
1 class/wk: $20 mem, $30 non-member
2 classes/wk: $40 mem, $70 non-member

This is a FREE exercise program for seniors.

The Bone Builders program relies upon weight training to protect against fractures caused by osteoporosis by increasing muscular strength and bone density.
Studies published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association show that elderly women who participated in a weight training program twice weekly for a year gained an average of 1% of bone density. A control group lost 2% to 2.5% over the same time period. At the same time, participants reported increased strength, better balance, more energy and feelings
of well-being.
