TRX Suspension
Training

A new category of exercise for all fitness levels that leverage one's own bodywieght and gravity using the TRX to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simulataneously. Training is offered in a small group training format. Only 5 spots available per class time.

Cost: $28 per class day/time per 7 week session
(i.e. Register for Tuesday at 6 a.m and pay $28 for the session. Register for Tuesday and Friday and pay $28 for the session)

Must pre-register to reserve your spot in each class time.

NOW Boot Camp
January 23rd - June 9th

This 20-week triathlon training class is for beginners who are ready to not only complete, but to compete in their first triathlon. Class leads up to the 8th annual Loon Lake Triathlon on June 9th, 2012 and consists of 4 phases of triathlon training.

Phase 1: Sport Specific Weight Training and Core Strengthening - first 4 weeks

Phase 2: Building a Base for your Swim, Bike, and Run - next 8 weeks. (weight training will continue, incorporating plyometrics)

Phase 3: Improving on your base for all three disciplines. Incorporating speed and BRICK workouts (back to back bike/run) - next 6 weeks

Phase 4: Peak/ Race - last 2 weeks

Mondays and Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00p

Class instructed by Carla Lind; cross country athlete, certified personal trainer, and Assistant Cross Country coach at Bethany Lutheran College.
Why wait? NOW is the time to join our group training program! In this class, a certified trainer leads you through a challenging circuit training workout filled with strength and cardio intervals designed to build muscle and burn fat. Enjoy the benefits of working out in a fun, supportive group environment that allows you to be pushed harder than you would push yourself on your own. Optional body composition assessments provided at the start and end of each session. All fitness levels welcome. Intensity modifications provided.

1 class/wk: $20 mem, $30 non-member
2 classes/wk: $40 mem, $60 non-member

We challenge YOU to complete the equivalent of an Ironman Triathlon within 4 weeks!

Or do it as a relay with a buddy and finish it in 2 weeks!

26.2 miles - Treadmill, elliptical, or track. A land aerobics class counts as 2 miles.

2.5 miles - Lap swim (32 laps in a mile)A water aerobics class counts as 10 laps.

112 miles - Stationary bike. Cycling class counts as 10 miles

The goal is to cross train and to have fun! Plus you get a really cool t-shirt when you complete the challenge! Register at the front desk and pick up your mileage log.

Cost: $10 individual (includes t-shirt)

            $20 relay team (includes 2 t-shirts)

 

 

High energy cardio class that combines motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance their worries away! Fun and easy to do.
